FAQs
What will the blood test tell me?
Blood data is ideal for determining initial nutrient dosing and for tracking how nutrient levels change over time, which is valuable information used to adjust future doses and learn how nutritional therapies (like Rootine) or lifestyle changes impact your health.
This test will show your level of vitamin B6, B9, B12, and D3 and show how your level compares to scientifically described optimal levels.
I already have blood data, can I upload?
We are developing a multiplexed ELISA reaction with our laboratory to offer inexpensive blood testing for key markers. ELISA is a well-established, proven method to measure blood analytes.
How long does it take?
From the time our lab receives your test kit, your results will be ready in 24-48 hours. You'll receive an email when analysis is complete and your Rootine dashboard will include your results and recommendations.
Is my blood data private?
Your data is 100% private - plain and simple. Rootine is not in the business of selling personal data or using it for any purpose other than making sure that your body gets the precision nutrition it deserves. Our industry-leading genetics laboratory is governed by some of the strictest data and medical privacy laws in the world.
How It Works
A painless finger-prick produces a few drops of blood which is dropped onto a filter paper. After the samples dry, they are returned to the envelope and shipped to the CLIA-certified laboratory.
