Director of Brand Marketing (remote)

The Role

We’re looking for a Director of Brand Marketing to be the strategic leader for brand building, play a key role in developing our messaging and brand voice, and develop and execute a content marketing plan across multiple channels. You will be responsible for helping us tell Rootine’s story and play an important role in managing our message through community development and other non-traditional channels. As a very early member of an early-stage team, you will you will be involved in long-term strategy as well as highly tactical day-to-day execution. What You Will Do

  • Develop content marketing plan and goals and execute against both
  • Develop and execute communications strategy
  • Work alongside team to develop community strategy and accelerate community growth
  • Grow brand following and loyalty through content creation, email marketing, social media, and other marketing and brand strategies
  • Work with internal and external consultants and designers to develop content, creative, and brand assets
  • Work alongside growth team to develop messaging, content, and creative needed to drive paid performance
  • Cultivate relationships with key influencers in the data-driven health space
  • Help establish the updated go-to-market strategy across messaging, value propositions, and insights
  • Perform market research to understand messaging effectiveness to evolve our brand and marketing touchpoints

What Gets Us Excited:

  • 5-10+ years of experience in a Brand or Marketing Strategy role; DTC startup experience preferred, health and wellness experience a plus!
  • Proven track record developing integrated marketing programs that drive conversions and brand loyalty and love working cross-departmentally to bring those campaigns to life.
  • Experience managing a wide variety of promotional projects end-to-end, including paid advertising campaigns and digital marketing techniques.
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics, digital advertising, community development, email marketing, and content creation
  • Deep understanding of consumer insights, research methodology and the tenets of brand development and architecture, with ability to build strong customer relationships and inform customer-centric solutions
  • Proven success developing and growing a company’s business and brand; ideally from early-stage startup to scale
  • Experience working in a data-driven environment where brand and acquisition teams work closely against shared goals

What You Will Do

  • Help create, lead, and manage our in-house development team and outsourced technology partners.
  • Be responsible for building and managing engineering team as we scale.
  • Take ownership of all technology aspects of the business including system architecture, data science, security, and improvement.
  • Implement and manage internal processes
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, CX, and founders to develop, implement, and improve new features
